People who like it really like the model. Curious kids who hate sitting still tend to thrive. Families choose it specifically because it's not a traditional Brazilian school — it points at universities abroad and treats kids as collaborators rather than recipients.

The honest reservations you'll hear:

It's still a young school. Founded 2017, so the high school is only just maturing — you won't get the long alumni track record you'd get from the older bilinguals.

Operations and admin are the weak link. Parent complaints consistently mention financial/admin service being slow and unresponsive. Teaching gets praise; the back office doesn't. According to one parent, "the teaching is good but the financial service is terrible."

Staff churn is worth asking about. Teacher reviews flag a culture where leadership concentrates power and people feel stretched. Work-life balance scores poorly. One teacher said management "concentrates too much power" and over-pressures staff. That can show up as turnover between school years.

Fees are top-of-market — around R$15-16k/month — putting it alongside the most expensive schools in the city.

Bottom line for your friend: if the kid suits PBL and the family wants a global, English-dominant environment, Concept genuinely delivers on the pedagogy. Go in eyes-open about admin friction and ask pointed questions about teacher retention this past year. Visit both shifts of pickup — the parent body tells you a lot.
