The vibe: secular, internationalist, serious about academics but not a coaching-factory. No exams or ranks until Class 8, which parents who choose it tend to actively want. Strong music, drama, sports and community-service tradition. Old families from Karol Bagh, Rajouri, Patel Nagar send generations here — sibling and alumni points genuinely matter at admission.

Teachers are long-tenured and visible. According to one parent, the place is "very systematic and organised... teachers and staff very well behaved." A former student called it "an amazing place to study and develop into an adult — spent 14 years here." That stickiness is the signal.

Fair warnings: - It's not flashy. The campus is older Delhi, not glass-and-AC. If your friend is comparing against a Sanskriti or a DPS-RKP feel, this looks more lived-in. - Nursery admission is brutal — points-based, heavy weighting on neighbourhood and sibling. If they don't already live in West/Central Delhi, the maths is hard. - Fees are mid-tier for this bracket of school (roughly ₹1.1-1.8L/year). Manageable by Delhi private-school standards, but one local described it as affordable mainly for "upper middle class families." - Communication with parents is described as decent but old-school — expect circulars and class WhatsApp, not slick apps.

Net: a safe, substantive choice. Best for a family who wants a child who can think, sing, play, and argue — not just score. If they're chasing IB or a particular curriculum, look elsewhere; if they want a real Delhi school with character, this is one of the genuine ones.
