Parents accept this — the line you hear is that high pay keeps teachers, which keeps turnover low. - No school bus. You drive, or you live close. Umm Suqeim/Jumeirah at drop-off is busy. Senior leaders are at the gates in the morning — community feel rather than corporate.

Bottom line for your friend. If you can get a place and live within driving distance, it's about as safe a bet as Dubai primary gets. The two real questions are (1) can you actually secure a seat, and (2) are you ready to do the secondary hunt before Year 6.
